When working with the Register of State Border (hereinafter: EDM) the EDM application is used. APR, implemented within the ESRI ArcView 3.0 software environment.

 The application enables the updating of EDM data and the creation of statistical representations of EDM situations.

When using it the View layer, which enables graphic display and entry of data into EDM layers, must be open (it is called EDM spatial representation), and at the same time the attribute portion of the Register is available throughout (it is called the EDM Table).

The following attributes are in the attribute layer:

• country code, sector, boundary marker marking, type of boundary marking, position of boundary marking, Slovenian coordinates, foreign coordinates, ETRS coordinates, etc.
